traveling relentless (or, all my motivation comes from Jackass)

So I fell at Pai near a waterfall and tore a bunch of muscles and have spent the last few weeks on crutches. Luckily, nothing minor like a few severed muscles can keep a conThai (or this conAmerica) from riding around on a motorcycle:

To Thai 1, which finished yesterday. Adjon Noi (best teacher ever):

I am going to miss this class a lot. Now, I can sort of talk to Grit sometimes, which is how we ended up watching Jackass over dinner (not really recommended). Hilarious.

To the Best Friend Library to see Thiha Yarzar, a Burmese refugee and political activist. He was imprisoned and tortured in Burma for almost 18 years of his life. You can read his story here.

To give alms (= milk boxes) to the monks this morning (Buddhist Lent ended yesterday):

To the bus station, where we will be catching a bus to Nakhonsawan this Thursday to start the next segment of our SE Asia trip.

- Nakhonsawan -> Krabi 10/29

- Krabi -> Malaysia 11/10

- Malaysia -> Indonesia (TBA)
